Morocco - Beef Tagine
I will start out by saying that this might now be one of my absolute favourite dishes I have ever made. It was so incredibly delicious, and you can bet that I have saved this recipe to make again and again.
I should start by saying that I do not own an actual tagine, so I had to use just a conventional pot and a different method, but it was still turned out amazing. Every step of the recipe I kept questioning whether or not the flavours would work together or not. I would never have expected olives and lemons and saffron and ginger to all combine so beautifully, but they absolutely did! The one part of the recipe I did change a bit was that I used regular lemons rather than preserved ones (since I couldn't find them), but it still turned out great! However, next time I think I'll try and make my own preserved lemons and use them instead.
Obviously I was very happy with this recipe, and I'll definitely make this one again, and soon!
