Thailand - Chicken Pad Thai
Well, now that school is finally done I can get on with my project! I have still been making the meals, I just haven't gotten around to writing about them, so let's get on with it!
A couple of weeks ago, I made this delicious Chicken Pad Thai for dinner, and it was delicious! It was also quite easy- in fact I think this now holds the record for the fastest I've finished preparing any of these special dinners. This amazing Pad Thai also holds the special rank of being deemed my sister's favourite dinner that I have made since starting my project! (Although this might have something to do with the fact that she loves any and all Pad Thai).
I was particularly intrigued by this recipe because it does not call for tamarind, which is usually associated with Pad Thai. According to the recipe, Pad Thai originally was made without it, and the sauce in this recipe tasted just like the Pad Thai my sister and I are used to. The only issue I had in making his recipe was that I forgot to add the egg when it told me too, so I had to add it near the end, which made most of my noodles break, but it still tasted great, so everything worked out in the end!
I'll try and get the other late posts out within the next couple of days, and then hopefully things will be more regular through the summer.
